THE MISSION
My goal with starting Upcyclosets is to make sustainability accessible to everyone by upcycling clothes/textiles into new styles that reflect current fashion trends at affordable prices. I use pre-loved fabrics that are still in good quality and transform it into something new that you can enjoy and love. I'm always looking for new ways to upcycle, so if there is a style that you want to see, please share it with me!
HOW IT WORKS: THE SUSTAINABLE VALUE CHAIN
1️⃣♻️ Upcyclosets starts with preloved garments and clothes that can be upcycled. All fabrics used are still in good quality, and will be cleaned and ironed.
2️⃣♻️ All of the upcycles are made specifically for each person to fit your size and style preferences. You have the choice in whether you want a cropped or full -length top, loose or tight fit, straps or no straps, and more.
All of the fabric scraps are reused and repurposed to produce little-to-no waste.
3️⃣♻️ Packaging will be always kept minimal and will be shipped with reused/recycled mailers.
HOW TO ORDER
1. Pick a style. View all available tops & accessories below.
2. Pick a fabric from the available fabrics below (under the subheading "Fabrics").
3. Send your order via email or DM on Instagram with the Style + Fabric that you would like. If applicable, I will ask for your measurements that are required.
If you want a custom order, please send an inquiry via email or DM on Instagram to receive a quote.
Alternatively, you can buy via my Etsy shop.
4. Payments are accepted via E-Transfer, PayPal or WealthSimple Cash. Credit cards are accepted via Etsy. Shipping fees vary based on the order. Free pick ups in North York and Vaughan, ON.

RECYCLING WITH UPCYCLOSETS
Looking to clear out your closet? If you have used fabrics, textiles, and garments that you no longer need, I will take it in exchange for credit on any Upcyclosets purchase.
Give your fabrics a second life - any and all fabrics will be accepted ranging from used dish rags to scarves to shirts, even if it is damaged.
However, in the order of the 3 Rs of waste management, here are some things to consider before recycling with Upcyclosets:
1️⃣♻️ REDUCE - Have you used this item to its fullest extent? If damaged, can you repair the item?
2️⃣♻️ REUSE - Are you able to use it in any other capacity, or are you able to give it to a family member or friend who can benefit from it?
3️⃣♻️ RECYCLE - If there is no further use for the garment/fabric, I will gladly accept it and give it a second life.

📍If you are in the Greater Toronto Area and are recycling large quantities, I may be able to provide contactless pick-ups. (Temporarily unavailable due to COVID-19 lockdown)
